Do you think God has forgotten you? Please know that He has not! Even if you are reading only this blog post, know that we have written it for you! God has given us a mission to write, and we have been writing every day for almost 6 months for you. He has not forgotten you.
Continue to get to know Him, and plug into God, His character, and who He is.
Psalm 56:8-9, David proclaimed: "You number and record my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle – are they not in Your book? Then shall my enemies turn back in the day I cry out; this I know, for God is for me."
God is for YOU. Your enemies will be turned back through your prayers and intercession. During Anvient times, when an earthly king planned to visit, a messenger or herald, might be sent to announce his coming. One example would be in Genesis 41:43 when Pharaoh proclaimed for all to "bow the knee" to Joseph when he set him over all of Egypt. When Baby Jesus was born, the angels were the heralds that proclaimed the King had come as a baby. We are sure there are more examples in the Bible, but you get the picture. Important announcements seemed to get some extra attention.
The Word of God announces our Savior all the way through the Bible. The Word of God is the herald of Jesus and the Good News. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Do you have a herald proclaiming the coming of Jesus to your marriage, family, and marriage healing? Perhaps we are the only ones you know proclaiming that God heals hurting marriages, if that is so, we are honored. If there are others don’t take them lightly.
"God’s ways are higher than ours, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8
Just as many did not accept Jesus and then crucified Jesus on the cross, in this day, many will choose not to receive the Word regarding God’s power to heal, restore, redeem, and resurrect. Others rejecting the Word does not change that God has proclaimed that He heals hurting people. God remembers His covenant.
God remembers you. He is walking with you through your pain and heartbreak. He loves you and wants to heal you. He is working with us. Keep the faith, if God is for you, who can be against you? He has sent people to encourage you in your walk toward marriage healing. Surrender it to Him. He will not fail you.
"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." II Thessalonians 3:11
God has proclaimed through His Word that He will deliver you and guard you from the evil one. He has proclaimed that we are to pray so that the Word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified! We should always pray, and not faint, and always know that God remembers us. We are not forgotten.

What do you do when it feels like no one you tell about standing and believing for restoration in your marriage seems supportive..I have friends tell me they are praying but when I mention my husband they ask if that's truly what I want in my life and what I want our kids to find ok...I have so many questions your story seems so similar to mine right now in ways..I use to be involved on church more when my husband and I met then I slowly let my family take number one even over myself..I have repented for this..my husband has never been saved but I still feel that God is telling me to stand
Dear Stander,
A lot of people are NOT going to stand with you. My advise it to just stand, and pray that God reveals to you the people who are standing with you. Now, if you are unsure about your stand maybe THIS is the reason for the hesitancy. I finally had to tell my friends and family that I was standing--no matter what--no matter HOW bad it got. AND if they were my friends then they would REMIND me that I said I would NEVER give up...and to NOT let me. Yes, I was THAT serious, that IF I wavered I needed people to stand alongside if me, even if they thought it was crazy, and REMIND me of what I said. It didn't get to that point. As we build ourselves up in the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to come alongside and encourage us DAILY, asking God to confirm His words in our heart it's really difficult to change your mind and go against the Heart of God. If He gave you a word to STAND, then He isn't changing your mind. He is right there. WE choose to walk away from the mission. Family will SEE your resolve. Does this mean you won't hurt....oh, I promise you will. If your heart is soft it will WEEP with a pain you can't imagine. BUT this is GOD; he wants to give you HIS heart for the lost. Your prodigal is LOST. WEEP for them.
Now, about your children, maybe this is the reason you are having the questions. In your stand, are you displaying FAITH, steadfastness, strength, love for God and the sinner, standing for covenant, praying for the lost?!? How can this be a wrong example for your children? Are you excusing sin? My children, without doubt, KNOW that sin is unacceptable and displeasing to our Father. They knew Josh's behavior was unacceptable, so it's not standing for sin being right....you are standing for the covenant to be upheld. Make sense?
Our stories are alike because the master of deceit, lies, and evil is the same no matter the person. Satan seeks to destroy destinies, and he really doesn't have any new tactics. Things look the same, because it's the SAME spirit.
BUT the Spirit that lives inside of you is MUCH stronger, and if GOD before you WHO can be against you? God is FOR YOU!!! He does impossible things!! Stand with him! Gain confidence in your stand, and your friends will see that you mean business. Are you passionate? People want a mission--give them one!!
I will be praying for you. Thank you for sharing your story.
Much love,
Serena Abdelaziz
Thank you..at times I just wish I had someone to talk to about this that understood what I am going thru and not speak ill of him..I have always wanted to make sure no one thinks bad of him....I cry for his safety and soul everynight...I sometimes feel so overwhelmed with my feelings and I pray but as you had said in a post that somestimes it feels like nothing is happening..I keep praying even though sometimes I feel as if I am blethering God or not praying the right things
At times I had to talk to no one because there was NO way it didn't look bad. It sounds like you have a heart to pray him home. God hears you. Are you keeping a journal? I had to write it all out in a private journal, NOT an online one. No one but my journal knows everything. God has been gracious and I do not always remember all of the details. With healing comes a lot of forgetting. You are not bothering God, and there is NO magic right way
No I don't have a journal..I should do that there some things going on right now that really upset me but I don't want to tell anyone about it..well I do but don't if that makes sense. I have dreams of him coming home all the time..its been two months and he seems to be pulling further away from everything.
