We are so humbled that you read this blog. Most of the time we feel so unqualified to write anything about marriage. We are fortunate that we have experienced the grace of our Heavenly Father in our marriage.
We readily admit that we know nothing. We experience many of the same ups and downs that you do. Some of the time we know how to deal with each other; other times it feels like we are only rookies and are about to get sent back to the minor leagues.
The only thing that we can say that we have learned is to flow with and in the Holy Spirit. Like we said, we don't know anything but He does. When we get lost and lose our way, we rely upon the guidance of the Holy Spirit to find our way back. We do not only heed his guidance but we have fully submitted to His authority.
If you take anything away from our blog and our time together, daily, is this...submit and listen to the Holy Spirit. It is something that we will always go back to and will always give as the first advice about marital restoration. The Holy Spirit and His guidance is more than vital to life and success; it IS life and success.
The things that He may tell you to do in your situation may seem crazy to others but will be the key and answer to your problem. Others may ridicule you but you will have a sense of peace in knowing you are not deciding on the course of action; the Holy Spirit is.
When you are not sure what to do, ask the Holy Spirit. When you lose your way, call for the Holy Spirit to guide you back. When you can't keep going, ask for His strength and comfort. When you have submitted to Him, He will give you what you need and never fail you.
