Some Hope for You

Yesterday was the Fourth of July here in America.  For those of you that read from abroad, this is our national day where we celebrate our independence from England years ago.  For many of us Americans we celebrate with outdoor grilling, displays of fireworks, and a day off from our work.  We spent the day swimming and hanging out with some dear friends of ours.  They are an amazing couple and have a wonderful family.

We met these friends some time ago and connected with them on a deeper level than others we meet.  In the process of time, we witnessed them walk through a very difficult time in their life and marriage.  It was heart-wrenching for us to see them fighting for their lives.  Whenever we talked to them we always encouraged them to, above anything else and first, seek the face of God and do what He said do.

Long story short, they are doing great!!  They are loving and committed to one another in way that testifies of their commitment to God.  They have walked through fire and do not even smell like smoke!

We share this with you today to give you hope during your dark times.  Even when things look their bleakest, their is still hope.  Not in us or in our friends but in the One who sees, knows, and can do all things!  Whatever you are facing, someone somewhere has been through it has come out victorious over it!!

So, hold on, friend!  Hold on to hope!  Hold on even when you feel like you can't!  God has not forgotten about you or your situation!  He is actively working on it for your best!  Don't bail out!  Hold on to Jesus!
